Run by two super cool hockey nuts, Bethany and Elise, NHL-Vivor doles out (and takes away) points for players based on performance. Score a goal? Super, be rewarded by some points! Make a gaffe that leads to a goal for the other team? Boo, minus points for you.
Now, about the girls:
Bethany, author of Bethany’s Hockey Rants, follows the Columbus Blue Jackets. She enjoys the stylings of Rick Nash, Martin Brodeur, and Aaron Rome. As for the retired greats, Patrick Roy and Steve Yzerman are high on her list.
Elise, author of 18,568 Reasons Why, roots for the Minnesota Wild. She has a fondness for the skills of young centermen Jonathan Toews and James Sheppard and a soft spot in her heart for the San Jose Sharks, LA Kings, and Chicago Blackhawks. She likes Willie Mitchell, too, even if he does play for the division rival Vancouver Canucks.
