He is a grindy, undrafted, underdog, good sportsmanship type of guy with a real summer job. He can play on most lines and works well with most of the players on the team. Supposedly everybody on the team likes him. He has shifty eyes but he does not talk much (I met him once). Unfortunately he likes the Leafs and says that Gretzky is his favorite player. ewwwww. As for Gomez, when he was smug looking on New Jersey it was totally acceptable but now with the Rangers he just look 1000x more smug. His face is indeed punchworthy.
